New Housing Development

Cambridgeshire, Spring 2013

An exclusive development of thirteen homes is currently under construction in Cambridgeshire, with D A Lawson Plastering Contractors providing all internal plastering and external K-Rend Rendering services.

The three-storey properties are being built to the highest specification; incorporating stylish décor with the very latest technical features & construction techniques. Sustainability is at the heart of the project, with careful consideration of economical & environmental aspects reflected in the detailed design requirements.

Internal Plastering

Each property has been individually designed to meet stringent requirements for thermal insulation, sound proofing and fire safety. Our years of experience in meeting comprehensive technical specifications have enabled us to successfully meet every requirement with no compromise on our renowned quality standards.

External K-Rend Rendering

The exterior design of the properties is impressive, integrating raw brickwork and natural solid wood cladding with striking white render.

Through-colour rendering was specified as it offers a long-term solution with the lowest maintenance possible (no painting required). On this project we are applying K-Rend, an excellent quality product that we recommend for its tried and tested flawless finish. The wide range of colours available has also enabled a shade to be chosen for application that is sympathetic to the design of the development and the surroundings.

Despite the temperamental weather throughout the first half of 2013 (including periods of unrelenting rain, heavy frost and unexpected snow well into the spring), D A Lawson Plastering Contractors have worked against the elements to deliver each stage on time and to budget. Our team’s knowledge of product working temperature boundaries and their commitment to quality has proven invaluable in ensuring the success of this project.

Construction continues throughout the summer of 2013…
